Non-fungible token (NFT) sales have plunged from the highs of 2021 and have yet to recover. However, there still are individual NFT sales that are reminiscent of the earlier mania.

One such NFT sale just occurred on Polygon.

Polygon Sees Biggest 24-Hour NFT Sale

The Polygon NFT ecosystem was at the center of attention yesterday when an NFT from the y00ts NFT collection sold for 75 ETH ($133,233). 

The sale was the largest 24-hour NFT sale across all blockchains and overtook blue chip NFT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks.

In general, y00ts, which Polygon paid $3 million to move from Solana, is by far the most popular NFT collection on the platform. According to CryptoSlam, y00ts has done $188,982 in volume in the past 24 hours. That’s more than double skull alliance, which records $69,279 in the past 24 hours. 

As for Polygon itself, it’s the third most active blockchain for NFTs in terms of sales. Polygon has seen over $1.04 million in sales in the past 24 hours, behind only Solana ($2.04 million) and Ethereum ($17.62 million).

In terms of transactions, Polygon is second only to Ethereum. The network has processed 25,852 transactions in the past 24 hours.
